A meticulous restoration of a 19th-century Rajasthani haveli that preserves its ornate jharokha balconies, mirror-inlay ceilings, and sandstone jaali screens while introducing discreet modern comforts. Structural reinforcement using stainless-steel tie-rods was concealed within the original lime-mortar walls, and a new geothermal cooling system replaces conventional air conditioning to protect the delicate frescoes. The courtyard was re-landscaped with drought-tolerant native species, restoring the haveli's historic role as a shaded urban oasis.
